Give Us A Twirl

A mini blipmeet with jankerman and riversider at the Railway Museum in York so that we could photograph the Steampunk gathering there. Coffee got the visit off to a nice start!

A good natter was had and then a wander round watching all the folk with their wacky costumes.

This quartet of ladies with the fabulous swirly dresses were doing a twirl. The low light level resulted in some long shutter speeds - but I quite liked the effect showing the movement of the dresses.

After yesterday’s heating controller failure - a new one was fitted, fortunately covered under the maintenance contract. I was slightly concerned (although not at all surprised) to hear from the engineer that the original one, which was put in the house when it was new, was wired incorrectly. Suffice to say we now have heating - and Mrs madwill can get warm!
