Ollie

The early mornings and the late afternoons are definitely chillier now, and the days are noticeably shorter, but everything in the garden is still growing.  Picked more beans and sweet peas, and cut a lot of perpetual spinach for the hens.  I've also found out that they love blackberries, and there are plenty of them around.

Ollie and I went for a few little wanders, but he's not very steady on his back legs these days and can't go far.  He had a rest this afternoon when Mike and I went to have a quick emergency practice of the Irish Rover before tonight's ceilidh dancing!  It paid off, it went just about okay in the evening!  There were so many folk there that it was a good night, lots of dancing, laughing and chatting, new faces and ones we hadn't seen for a while.   We did a lot of dances and it served as a good practise for next week's ceilidh!
