Not a butterfly

Odd-jobbing in the garden once the wet morning turned sunny in the afternoon... replacing rotten wood in a seat, taking cuttings of fav plants, potting on primulas taking photos.... watched the army of caterpillars munching nasturtiums but decided to blip this fly?on the Inula Hookerii. Would have preferred a butterfly but very few out to play here this summer.
