The Orchid Hunter

Have just been on a short trip to London, mainly to visit my Mum and The South London Botanical Institute.
Here is my mother meeting a younger botanist, he is called Leif Bersweden.  He has had a surprise hit book called 'The Orchid Hunter' which you can see displayed on the table.  The book is about Leif's quest to see all of Britain's 52 orchids in bloom through one season, something he succeeded in and then wrote about very well.
Just to say that the photo is taken in the botanical library that my mum has been involved in for very many years!
