Burning

We started our hiking day in rain, but it did not last for long. When we stayed for a break and for picnic at a beautiful little lake it was sunny and hot. 
We were hiking in a nature reserve where controlled burning are used, to benefit plant- and animal species , depending on the fact that it is burning in the forest from time to time. It was a strange sight to see the burned forest. (It was burned in May). The border between the burned and not burned area was interesting.
