Manchester Airport

Finally arrived at the very unpreposessing Manchester Airport, after a very long trip down, made worse by the fact that satnav was crap and continued to send the car to the wrong location (ended up heading to North Wales at one point).

Anyway, Strictly tonight and then bed as need to be up at 4am for tomorrow’s flight to Venice.

As the airport is so drab, my blip is the memorial garden, which commemorates those lives lost in air disasters, as well as the formation of the parachute and glider regiments in 1940 and 1942, respectively, at the airport.
