Recorder players

A damp day again today so after a steady start to the day I went into town to go take a few indoor shots. I had been told about a heritage music festival with a difference. It was music ranging from the 14th century to the 19th century. It was held in St marys church in Lincoln which I have blipped before from the outside.
This shot show the local recorder society performing . Who would have thought there was so many different variations of the squeaky horrible sounding instrument I knew and tried to play as a kid . A few more shots can be seen HERE . I have included an extra showing the location inside .

Am afternoon  indoors watching rugby League on tv. I am now going to get ready to head out for a few drinks to celebrate my Birthday which is today.
