Pure Gold

A miserable day with a little drizzle then an afternoon of rain.

I went into Scarborough this morning to see the assembly of Goldwings set up at the West Pier. Such a great collection of bikes.

The event is organised by Goldwings For Life, a group of Yorkshire motorcyclists, fundraising, this year, for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. A great atmosphere despite the dull day with plenty of people viewing and donating to this very worthwhile cause. Two more in extras.

On Sunday night the Goldwing Light Parade starts at 8.00pm prompt and afterwards at 9.30 a firework display from the beach. It should be a spectacular event.

Hopefully we will make it there tomorrow night.
