Loquat

Eriobotrya japonica difficult to fruit in the UK but the flower buds showing in a garden on our walk show that this year's hot summer may have helped. The Loquat flowers in autumn but fruits in May or June. So it will depend on the Winter's weather. In Spain and Portugal it is known as "Nispero"
