York Festival of Traditional (and very wet) Dance
I hadn't been to York since late Autumn, last year, and the festival was on, where quite a few friends and acquaintances would be performing.
There were dancers from as far away as Northamptonshire, and Leeds Morris Men had 2 guest dancers from Cardiff Morris.
One side decided to make a feature of a large puddle in the dance area, and it played a quite big part in their performance!
Train home at 4.30, and I took the extra as the train waited for a signal, near some well known landmarks.
It was also interesting to see the fun-runners on the Gateshead side: it's the Great North Run tomorrow.
