Droopy Wet Flowers
This Saturday - the second Saturday of the month - is typically a really big day for activities on Chincoteague Island. There's an "Artful Flea" market; the Plein Air painters wrap up their work and have a show in the evening; and there's a "Poker Run" with a swarm of motorcyclists. This morning the flea market went all right until about 11:30 and then the skies opened. Which also meant that there were plein air artists huddled under whatever shelter they could find, and precious few motorcycles. I think most of the cyclists opted to come in their trucks instead. There seemed to be a gang of them eating the meal that is put on at the end of the Poker Run, but very few bikes.
Anyhoo - we attended the flea market, and went back downtown during a break in the rain to look at/for motorcycles and their riders. Photography wasn't really happening, so here's a wet flower.
