2018 Saturday — New Front Landscape

Yesterday the white vinyl fence was installed in our front yard; the gates will be installed Monday and then our pups will have a lovely nice yard to visit just outside our front door when they want to “go.”

We also had a new cement driveway put in yesterday. We had thought we’d wait a while but we were quoted a bargain price by the contractor who rebuilt both of our bathrooms this past February, so we accepted his offer.

So the front yard is looking good. Several neighbors have stopped to tell us how much they like it and that’s certainly appreciated. We think we’re going to purchase solar light caps for each of the fence posts.

The temperature climbed today to 100 degrees F. So that is the hottest we have experienced since we returned from the Central Coast Monday, August 20. Thankfully I was in the house most of the day, but Mr. Fun spent lots of time outside keeping the cement wet while it cures.
