And so it begins

First day of 8th grade...but also first day up at the High School.  Luckily...the first day is just for the 8th graders.  WHEW....they get a chance to check things out before everyone else arrives. 

Sugar had a good day.  She was THRILLED to find out for sure that she got into Leadership. This was something she wanted very badly.  Such great news.  She has PE first period...which isn't as lovely.  She said, "Great...I'm going to be a hot mess all day....everyday!"  She will make it work, though, I'm sure.  

It was fun to hear all about it when she got home.  It wasn't until after dinner when she felt like sharing it all...and boy...she had a lot to say.  All good though.  So nerves for the 2nd day, where the big kids will be on campus...but all in all...she is just excited for new things to come.
