Bird Mansion

Was wandering around Long Valley this afternoon, toying with my 8mm lens when I saw this Bird House. Actually it's more like a Bird Mansion I think.

There are initials carved on the back with the year 1921 below the initials. The foundations of the house dates back to the early 1800s so it is possible that this Bird Mansion is nearly 100 years old.

I do like this lens. It's made by a Korean company called Rokinon and is very inexpensive and the optics are superb. Although it works for me it did take a long time to master it. It is completely manual and requires a lot of TLC to get the best out of it. If you have the patience then it's a very rewarding, if limited lens.
