Electric Train
Genoa has one of the oldest electric trains in Europe, allegedly, and it goes for an hour up into the hills. In the station are 3 or 4 beautiful red and blue carriages, so we were little surprised to be getting on this one.
To say it was a rickety ride would be an understatement, but the views were great looking back at the city and then going through small villages. At the top we had an hour and a half to wander round and have a drink and of course the obligatory nibbles.
I last did this trip about 15yrs ago on my own in November, so it was great today to do with my lovely wife.
