Cake.....

We had a very socially enjoyable day today.  Helen and I met Maeve for lunch at Hunter House, and had a couple of hours of good chat.  It was a very pleasant day and Helen and I walked from the town centre up to Calderwood, and also walked home from the lunch venue, so we got plenty of exercise.

And in the evening we had the family over and a very noisy, happy and interesting evening.  I have blipped our pudding......It can prove difficult to get all of the kids together nowadays as they are all busy people so it was good to have this get together while Helen is up.
