High tide

We went to Newcastle this morning, a walk on the promenade and a coffee on the High Street which runs parallel to the promenade. It was blustery but bright and sunny, and the tide was high. I love to watch and listen to the sea - and it was particularly beautiful this morning - as the waves came in and bounced back off the sea wall they collided with the next wave coming in, an explosion of water. Simply fascinating to watch, mesmerizing! It was the sort of morning that makes you happy just to be :-)
