Twiddle Muff

When I visited my friend with dementia recently I noticed how she continually fiddled with the name tag she was wearing.  I had read about these muffs and as I was at a loose end today I downloaded a pattern from the internet and will make her one.  It will be fun attaching bits and bobs to it to keep her fingers busy.  She used to do a lot of sewing so will find some interesting buttons and makes some tassels etc.
Even if she discards it, it will keep me out of mischief for a couple of days.
