Garden chores

This is the view as you walk up the side of the house and the garden is revealed. First the wild flower bed and then the yellow begonias (from bulb), scabious and geum after the conifer. I am so pleased we still have so much colour in September. Unfortunately the conifer has died so will be removed in ten days. Given the hot summer I am relieved we have only lost one conifer and one yew.
I did some weeding this morning whilst Rob painted the shed. More to do tomorrow as the weeds seem to have greatly multiplied of late. I always think of my Mum when I weed as she was very proud of her garden and never shy of getting down and dirty with the garden tasks. I can feel her cheering me on as I get stuck in!
