Reasons to be cheerful...

One! -Two!! -Three!!!
Another triumph.
In many previous years I've just been too "damlate" sowing quite a few crops. I'll maybe give parsnips a bash next year, they are always so late I needn't have bothered.
These perked me up no end. I think I'll see what the tops cook up like.

I ought to point out - I didn't have many, but more than these three; they just happened to fit my current mind-set.
