Sunday walk

Poor Gavin was up at 4.30am this morning waiting for Adam to get back from his all night party and then bundle him into a taxi with all his ski gear to get to Heathrow in time for his early morning flight. Luckily Gavin did this as with no sleep and a bit too much alcohol being drunk Adam needed a bit of assistance! It's just a pity that this most extravagant and unmissable 21st party was the night before his flight, so he really did not want to miss it. Needless to say, Adam was very grateful for his dad's help and texted to say he was on the plane and all was well.

After breakfast Gavin and I went for a lovely walk with Murdoch - poor Luke wanted to join us but had to sit at home instead. It was cloudy to start but by the time we finished the walk the skies had cleared and we had sunshine and blue skies again. This is a view from our walk, the heather is past its best but its still looking pretty.

We have had a quiet day at home, catching up on various bits of admin. Gavin and Luke made a lovely BBQ lunch, its still pleasant enough weather for a BBQ which is so much easier than a roast dinner.
