Rainbow over the apple tree

A showery day  but sunny between showers. I got my timing wrong while running this morning but in the afternoon we avoided the rain while taking a walk along the canal.

This is the view from my friends house where we stopped for tea, The apple tree is hers and although it fell over a couple of years ago it still has loads of lovely apples every year

Now it's wine time and the Sunday roast smells good. A quiet evening.
