Happy birthday to me

The beauty of having several pre- birthday celebrations is that by the time the actual days rolls round you have little to do except sit in the garden with your book and the rest of the open bottles from yesterday,

I did take Will for a try out at the Worthing Fencing Club. He fancied a go after enjoying it on his school trip last year. Turns out his school trip session was not fully representative in what hard work and how hot it was. He is not making many positive sounds about becoming a fully paid up member but we will see.

And Daisy is not feeling freezing cold (while actually being boiling hot) but reports her pre- college homework as requiring too much thought than she is currently capable of.

And then I discovered completely forgotten tickets to see Sarah Millican that I bought me, my mum and sister for Christmas last year. Thankfully still in the actual future.
