Love lies bleeding

We have moved from late summer to early autumn.  The plums have been harvested, the branches of the apple tree are bending with fruit, the rowan berries are turning their autumn yellow, the rose hips are shining brightly red, greens are turning to red, .....  And there is much to look forward to.

Love lies bleeding is at its best in early autumn.  I reminds me of Bob Marley and that is not a bad thing.
