Cousins

Today Dad and I met up with 3 of my cousins from my mum's side. I hadn't seen one of them for about 25 years and 2 of them had only met once before when they were young children. It's a shame when families are torn apart by events from the past that they have no control over and that's what happened in Mum's family when she was only young herself. Mum tried hard to stay in touch with all her siblings and to keep them all together which is why today felt special.
We met in Bridgnorth and had lunch and then went up the vernacular railway.
