Boat on the Beach

This morning G and I went for a very welcome walk on the beach at Cley, followed by a visit to an exhibition of bird photos by a friend of ours who has some photos in this year's Bird Photographer of the Year book. It was a lovely morning albeit a bit breezy and there were quite a few people out enjoying a walk.

I've been enjoying the US Open on Amazon Video. Yesterday was the very controversial ladies final where Osaka beat Williams after a number of code violations by Williams were punished. I can see both sides of the argument, but do think that the docking of a game at a critical time was an overreaction by the umpire and would not have happened in a men's match.
