Market

We headed out to the wonderful food market after breakfast. It’s well worth a visit to see the best fresh produce including fruit, veg, fish, meat and an amazing array of local cheese. We bought a few bits for a picnic then made our way for the second time to Piazza Manin to take the train (see yesterday’s blip) into the villages around Genoa.
It was a tiny electric train covered in graffiti with only room for about 30 people that wound its way up into the hills ending at Casella Paese where we wandered around and refreshed ourselves before heading back to Genoa for a delicious dinner.
