school run

Am currently living and teaching in an orphanage in rural Andhra Pradesh but twice a week i take the school bus to a more remote orphanage in the interior, it takes an hour to get there on the school bus on shall we say "challenging" roads (tracks really and lets not talk about what happens to them when it rains...). As well as being a school for orphans it also caters to local village kids we pick up along the way. They get a decent education for free and pay a tiny sum for the bus. This photo is a quiet moment...later on it gets so crammed i can't physically get my camera out. A lot of the kids have sponsors to help them out, today they are getting photos taken to send to said sponsors so they are decked out in their finest...
