Grown Up

Down to London today for a meeting in a very Grown Up bit of London. Over the years, I've developed quite a soft spot for London, having really disliked it when I first visited it in my early 20s.

All round a good day involving:
- a productive meeting and slightly scary schmoozing with Grown Ups just off The Mall
- a walk across the Thames and a furtle around Blackfriars
- coffee and chips with the lovely H2 in the rather nice bar in BFI Southbank
- my first and probably last visit to a proper club (as in "let's meet at my club" rather than "nightclub")
- octopus
- wander along The Strand
- beautiful old pubs
- bit too much to drink
