Solace Day 6 High!

Well, this was the highlight (126'/38m high!) of our trip, a cruise across the famous Pontcysllte Aqueduct. It was opened in 1805 and is a very remarkable structure designed by Thomas Telford and William Jessop.

After the crossing we moored in Lllangollen and went shopping. We decided to stay the night here.
