Learning to windsurf

This morning I visited Yeadon Tarn up by Leeds-Bradford airport on my way home from the dentist. It was rather cold, grey and windy, but the lake was busy with canoeing, rowing and winsdurfing activities all taking place at once.
The West Leeds activity centre is based just by the lake, and there are often groups of youngsters and not-so-youngsters enjoying various outdoor challenges.
These three windsurfers had just taken to the water, after having had their initial training on dry land. It's just as well they had wetsuits on, as the water must have been cold, judging by their reactions when they inevitably went in....
