Föhr

Arrived on Föhr after a fourteen hour slog of a drive from Munich. Originally planned a quick raid over the Danish border for a cheeky coffee ’n cake, but various roadworks along the way put paid to that.

Nice to eventually be here and have fallen for this lovely "Frisian Caribbean" island.

Please note the jetty at Wyk auf Föhr is a little more substantial than the one shown, and we didn’t have the pleasure of being transferred from ship to shore via ships boat and local piggy back to the beach.
