Lucy

Just over two short years ago, our little teacher Lucy passed away.
We had her cremated and portions of her ashes spread in various locations where we felt she had been her happiest.
It took a little while, but we eventually took the ferry from Föhr to Amrum to visit one of her happiest places, the Kniepsand at Amrum. Here we spread her remaining ashes onto her favourite beach.
It wasn’t our imaginations, but the sun broke through the overcast sky for a few brief minutes whilst we gently released her into the warm westerly wind.
