Cox's Orange Pippin

The apples are ripening nicely and will soon be ready for harvesting. I have two small trees in large pots. Unfortunately the James Grieve, which has provided a good crop since I got it two years ago, hasn't done so well this year. The branch containing the three apples it produced this year was broken by the wind in July so no apples from it but the Cox has done really well.  I have more than a dozen apples to pick from it. More than ample for one person.
