Arfur, Lafawnda and Dolly

We had Arfur up to the vet to check in his corneal abrasion, it's looking good, no sign of it with the fluorescing stain! His eyelashes do the same thing as Kiki's though and tend to stick straight to his eye, I can't imagine it's comfortable! We did some more bunny bonding this evening, it went not too badly, nobody is out and out trying to kill anybody else so that's a good sign!

The oncology department got back to us about Kiki, apparently they have never treated a rabbit, but are happy to run the diagnostics for staging, x-rays, CT, blood test and pathology, etc... With no real experience in rabbits I am not so sure though, they are so different to cats and dogs, it's a a worry if they haven't treated rabbits before! Our vet is going to approach the Royal Dick vet school in Edinburgh and her go to bunny expert to see what they think, it might be we will go to one of them instead! The one thing they did say was how rare this is and how little literature there is to support treatment options! I think our next move is definitely to get some pathology done and see exactly how malignant it is, that will guide us in our next steps!
