Ghost in the ruins
of Creake Abbey, north Norfolk. Founded in the 1100s as an almshouse for the poor, elevated to a priory around 1231, destroyed by fire in 1483, an attempt was made to rebuild it but outbreaks of illness prevented restoration to its former glory.

Monochrome and sepia seemed appropriate.
