Becky

I'm largely all work and no play at the moment so it was nice to go out for a change this evening to celebrate my brother-in-law's significant birthday. He's the only person I know who's even more low key than me and he wasn't planning to mark the occasion at all but, in the end, relented and opted for a takeaway at his stepmother's. This is one of her dogs, Becky, who has featured on here before.

In other news, shortly after we got there Son2 called to say that there was water running down out of the side of one of the kitchen ceiling light fittings, presumably from the bathroom above, when he had just had a shower. I have therefore emailed our neighbour who is both a handyman and electrician and has helped us out with many issues over the years...hopefully this one can be added to that list.

In other, other news, someone wished me a happy three years blip day yesterday. I had no idea about this as I don't get notifications but it probably is about that long since I started again, which when added the previous time round when I did at least the same, means I've been doing this malarkey for quite a while now! :)
