Lake Minnewanka
Arrangements had been made for an early start at 6 am driving across to Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka. I think we would all admit that things weren't looking great as the rain lashed down as we arrived out our first stopping point.
We persevered and as though by magic the rain stopped and gaps started to develop in the clouds. Although we hadn't had breakfast we held out until 9 am, taking various photographs along the shore line at Two Jack Lake, before heading across to Lake Minnewanka. It was here, perched on a narrow ledge above the lake that we saw this light. It was the best of the day.
We returned to the hotel for a late breakfast and then headed towards Banff, shooting along the Bow River from various locations before the rain set in again. There was nothing to it but to retire to Banff to visit the town in the rain.
