Sand dollar section
The sand dollar is from the sea urchin family and lives in the tidal areas of beaches world wide. See here to learn all about them.(Thanks to Wikipedia).
They are a five sectioned creature and these broken sections were strewn all over the beach at Rabbit Island the other day. So some came home to the blip box. There only seemed to be a few grains of sand but in macro it shows up to be a lot more. The silver paper is the inside of the gingernuts biscuit packet. As I never eat the biscuits Trev sorts them out and I only just realised they are in tin foil so I have kept one or two for photo work.
An extra for a different view.
