Harvest time

With a sense of optimism and a buoyant curiosity i delved into the veggie patch to uncover my anticipated sackloads of Oka.

Those of you that have followed me for a while will remember my planting of these strange knobbly beasts and the fun we hadand my patience as I waited for the fruits of my labour.

I am now at liberty to proudly display my haul. Eight pea sized mini okas and five of the size of a hazel nut. I am unsure as to weep or cheer.

Perhaps I will just keep them as seed for next year, which I am sure will be a bumperocafest.
