Nothing to spoil the view . . .

A big decision - we have sold the car!  Both of us are now retired, so we don't need two vehicles and at the weekend we sold the car to the chap we bought the campervan from a few years ago.

Lady Findhorn has long pointed out that the car sitting outside the front spoilt the view, so she too will be happy to see it gone!  

Today a trip to Kirkwalll for a haircut and then on to Betty's Reading Room to drop off a huge bag of books.  A bit of a clear out to make room for even more . . . !  It's a wonderful place.  We browsed, found all sorts of interesting and curious books, Ollie had a dog biscuit and a drink, we had a mince pie each and chose a couple of books each to take with us.  It's always worth a visit - you never know what you will find!
