She's leaving home

after more than 50 years. I lived there for 18 years. It's very sad, we never thought she would leave the home she set up with my dad, and then brought up me and my brother on her own, and been there on her own for the last 26 years. But she never expected it to happen like that of course. Gradually her friends have moved away or passed away, and now the house is sold and I am going over to help pack up on Wednesday. She'll be at my brother's and at my house until she gets a new retirement house near to my brother in Nottingham. It'll be better for her, and us, but it's the end of an era.
