Windswept Heron!

Met Office reported gale force winds in this area today!  I sought the shelter of the Hide at the Nature Reserve to see if there were any birds around  -  lots of Lapwings way out  -  they love to play in the wind.   Just a few Herons hiding in the rushes  -  not so keen on the wind presumably!  You can see from the bend in the rushes and the ruffle of his feathers how heavy the wind was.
