Tuesday: Common Green Shield Bugs ... again

A lovely warm and sunny day after overnight and early morning rain.
First job was to remove saucers and trays which have been under pots since the beginning of the heatwave, everything is waterlogged now and glad of the drainage!
Collected ripe tomatoes, windfall Bramley & Bardsey apples and a jar full of damsons which are now Damson Gin!
Went to inspect yesterday’s gardening in the long narrow garden and was stopped in my tracks when I saw groups of very large shield bugs and I’ve managed to get a clearer shot than in previous efforts...
