Dawn over Argelès-Plage

I can’t resist a sunrise shot: I took this from the balcony just before going to breakfast. Since then I’ve been hiking up and down rocky paths in the mountains above Laroque d’Alberes, a region to the north of the Pyrenees and the Spanish border, a region that once was part of Spain.

We had a lovely local guide for half the day, and we came upon a very good Swedish male voice choir singing an Icelandic song about ice inside an ice pit on the hillside. You can find a snippet on Instagram or Facebook...
