Well done

Fiona had enrolled herself in a course at work. 12 weeks, three or four hours each week. It sounded eminently manageable.

Cue stroke, multiple car breakdowns, child starting University, colleagues going on long-term sick leave and consequent racking up of workload. There was a point when jacking it in seemed like the sensible thing to do but Fiona persevered and after a final push last week, sat the exam and passed.

We are all very proud of her.

I've not bought flowers for quite a while since the quality of the ones sold down the road dropped. Sarah beat me to it and brought home these flowers for Fiona. I nipped out later on and got her a nice bottle of wine from me and the boys - and a nice bottle of wine it was too. The flowers have lasted till today. The bottle of wine did not last quite so long.
