McManus 150

The Albert Institute, as some of us recall it, is celebrating it’s 150th birthday. Tonight was the launch of a new (Big Sky) publication to commemorate the collections and the people they reach. Lovely event featuring the book’s editor, Anna Day, and local photographer, Alan Richardson, whose work throughout is really the star of the show. Great work by designer Andrew Forteath too. And the formal bit of proceedings had a nice conclusion with songs from the redoubtable Loadsaweeminsingin choir
