THE GLENLIVET

Today this bottle arrived & I did the decent thing this evening & gave it a go. Oh boy - this is the business - a funky 11year old with 62.4% vol - a total délice!!

Also noticed the date - 17 years ago I was working on the 3rd. floor at Hill's Music, listening to BBC Radio 4 & all of a sudden, Woman's Hour was interrupted by a news clip saying that an airliner had flown into the World Trade Centre...

I had two lightbulb moments. The first was... "Sh*t - there's another one coming"... & when that turned out to be true, the other one went off..."Sh*te - my lovely cousin Mouse is in Manhattan.

Took me two days to contact her as everything was down...
