Delicate Beauty

Always had a yen for orchids, of all shapes and sizes. Especially at present times when you can buy them almost anywhere at very modest cost.

But the delicate blooms of the miniature varieties invariably grab my attention over the full size varieties.

A shame though that I have yet to encounter an orchid with a fragrance. I am told that some do have a scent, some do not, and that you are most likely to find those with a fragrance in their natural state rather than the potted decorative hybrid varieties you buy for the home.

But then the experts tell me there are so many varieties, I won’t give up looking for one that emits a fragrance just yet.
