It has been a long day, but the work part of it went smoothly. 

The Manager is going on holiday for a week on Thursday. She’s so busy trying to get on top of her workload before she leaves that she had no time to waste on the Hippie and me.

The Boss was in Parliament most of the day to host a visiting group of Spanish journalists, and then speak in a debate at 5pm. Again, too busy to cause trouble for the rest of us. 

After scrutinising the weather forecast over breakfast, looking outside, and then trying to work out what was really going on, I cycled to work. It was very windy, but dry and sunny. It was the same coming home. A good result, but definitely an early autumn day rather than late summer. 

The Blip is the same scene as last Tuesday. Not much has changed.
